As of now, there is no official online system in place to check the status of your Pakistan passport if you’re in Pakistan itself. If you’re a Pakistani living overseas, you can track your Pakistan passport online by checking the respective embassy or consulate website. Pakistani passport tracking by token/SMS number
The DGIP has recently implemented an SMS-based Passport Tracking Intimation System. All you have to do is to write and send your 11-digit token number to 9988 via SMS. Your passport status will be sent to you via SMS immediately, providing timely updates to applicants regarding the various stages of passport processing, such as printing and shipment/delivery. These updates are sent directly to the applicant’s registered mobile numbers.
Pakistan passport tracking overseas
For Pakistanis overseas, tracking your passport status is a straightforward process. You can do so by visiting the respective embassy or consulate websites, such as those in Frankfurt (Germany), Toronto (Canada), Athens (Greece), Milan (Italy), Paris (France), and New York (USA), Dubai (UAE), Kenya.
