NADRA ID tracking number
When checking the status of your CNIC, a tracking number is needed. You will receive this tracking number when you apply for an ID card through NADRA. The tracking number is a 12-digit code printed on your application form or receipt. The tracking number will help you know your application’s progress and when you can expect to receive your ID card.

In checking the status of your CNIC, you can use NADRA’s service. The website allows you to track the progress of different types of IDs, such as CNIC, NICOP, or POC applications, and receive updates on their status. You can also download your identity documents and verify your identity online.

Tracking your status online requires you to have an existing account. If you want to track your CNIC status online, you can do so by following these steps:
- Go to the Pak Identity portal
- Log in to your account
- Accept all the terms and conditions
- Under the CNIC/NICOP option, click on “Apply Now”
- Click on the “Existing Applications” option
- Select “Tracking ID” to check the status of your CNIC
NADRA ID tracking via SMS
Another way to check the status of your CNIC is through NADRA’s SMS-based service.
- Open your messaging app
- Text your application tracking ID to 8400
You will then receive a text message from NADRA with all the details regarding the status of your CNIC. However, if both options don’t work for you, you can call NADRA directly at +92-51-111-786-100.
