Checking and tracking your NADRA ID status

You can use NADRA’s service to check the status of your CNIC. The website allows you to track the progress of different types of IDs, such as CNIC, NICOP, or POC applications, and receive updates on their status. You can also download your identity documents and verify your identity online.

NADRA ID tracking online

Tracking your status online requires an existing account. If you have yet to register, you can learn how to do so in our Pak ID mobile app article. Upon successful registration, you will receive a NADRA ID tracking number, which will allow you to track your application’s progress and determine when you can expect to receive your ID card.

Once registration is complete, you can track your CNIC status online by following these steps.

• go to the PAK Identity portal
• log in to your account
• accept all the terms and conditions
• under the CNIC/NICOP option, click on “Apply Now”
• click on the “Existing Applications” option
• select “Tracking ID” to check the status of your CNIC

Another way to check the status of your CNIC is through NADRA’s SMS-based service.

• open your messaging app
• text your application tracking ID to 8400
• you will then receive a text message from NADRA with all the details regarding the status of your CNIC
