On 10 July 2024, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) introduced several new primary services at its Qatar Visa Centres (QVC), which are operational in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

According to the announcement by Major Nasser Ali al-Khalaf, director of the Visa Support Services (VSS) Department, these services now include medical services for temporary work visas, medical test services for multiple entry work visit visas, and vision test services for driving license applicants.

What is the Qatar Visa Center (QVC)?

The Qatar Visa Center (QVC) facilitates the visa application process for individuals in their respective countries. QVC provides a range of services, including biometric enrollment, medical screening, and contract signing for individuals applying for work visas. Additionally, the QVC offers visa application and issuance services for those seeking visit visas. Applicants can easily track the progress of their visa application and obtain printed visa details through the Ministry of Interior Qatar website. Moreover, applicants have the option to extend their visit visas online through the same website.
