What is the border number?
A border number is an exclusive identification code assigned to expatriates who enter Saudi Arabia on a new visa—issued by the Saudi General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).
It consists of ten digits and is pivotal in monitoring visa status and providing essential information. The border number is generally handwritten by the Saudi Immigration authorities, on the visa holder’s passport.
Please note that your border number is a unique 10-digit number. It is not the same as your passport number or your visa number.
