The following is a list of marathon events taking place in Dubai in 2024:
Dubai Marathon
Organized by the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Marathon is an annual marathon held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The marathon is scheduled for 7 January 2024.
Please note that the registration will remain open until 20 December 2023.
Dubai Creek Striders Half Marathon
The Dubai Creek Striders Half Marathon is planned to take place on Sunday, 28 January 2024. The registration for the event is now open, and interested participants can register through the Marina Home Dubai Creek Striders Half Marathon official website.
The Expo City Dubai Half Marathon
The Expo City Dubai Half Marathon accommodates runners of all skill levels by providing various race distances, including 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km options. The marathon is set to be held on 4 February 2024.
Burj2Burj Half Marathon
Embark on a stunning 13.1-mile (21.1 km) race from Burj Al Arab to Burj Khalifa on 21 January 2024. The registration will be open until 13 January 2024 or sooner, provided the tickets get sold out.
Dubai Harbour Run
The Dubai Harbour Run offers 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km distances for all ages and abilities. However, the date for the 2024 event has not been released yet.

Mai Dhai Half Marathon
The details for the Mai Dhai Half Marathon event have not been released yet. In 2023, the Mai Dhai Half Marathon concluded on 29 October, with the race being divided into three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km.

Dubai South Run
The date for the Dubai South Run 2024 event has not been released yet.
In 2023, the Dubai South Run event concluded on 5 November 2023. The race started from Dubai South HQ, offering participants three distance choices: 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km.

Community Run at Ripe Market
Community Run at Ripe Market is a series of races held every few weeks from 19 November 2023 onwards. The 2024 race will consist of two series: Series 3 of 4 on 21 January 2024, and Series 4 of 4 on 14 April 2024.
Mai Dubai Community Run
Participate in the exhilarating race with three distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The 2024 race will consist of Series 3 of 4 on 21 January 2024 and Series 4 of 4 on 14 April 2024.
Dubai Investments Green Run
The Dubai Investments Green Run features a 3 km fun run and a timed 5 km run suitable for individuals of all ages and skill levels within Dubai Investments Park. The race is set to take place on Sunday, 18 February 2024.
Dubai Canal Run
The Dubai Canal Run will be held on 24 February 2024. The race will occur in Dubai Canal, Dubai Design District, at 6.30 AM.
M1 Run
The yearly M1Run comprises a 1.2 km steep run and more than 700 steps in the Media One Hotel & Tower’s staircase from the 7th to the 42nd floor. The race will be held on 10 February 2024
Mina Rashid Marina Run
Challenge yourself at the Mina Rashid Marina Run in P&O Marina near Deira Islands. Scheduled to take place on 20 January 2024, the race will allow participants to choose from three different options – 3 km, 5 km and 10 km.
Marathon event in Abu Dhabi
The following is a list of marathon events taking place in Abu Dhabi in 2024:
Ma’an Run
The date for the Ma’an Run 2024 event has not been released yet.
The Ma’an Run 2023 was concluded on 3 December, with the event being directed to support Senior citizens in Abu Dhabi. The distance choices for the race were 1 km, 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km.

ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon
The date for the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon 2024 event has not been released yet. However, the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon for 2023 will be held on 16 December 2023.
For the 2023 event, the race is divided into five, which are marathon, marathon relay (teams of 2), 2.5 km distance, 5 km distance, and 10 km distance.

Kalba Half Marathon
The date for the Kalba Half Marathon 2024 event has not been released yet
The Kalba Half Marathon 2023 concluded on 2 December. The race was held in Kalba’s new Corniche Street with several options for distances, which include 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km, and 2.5 km.

UAE Summits Challenge
Although there is still no confirmation whether this event will return in 2024, the last phase of the UAE Summits challenge ended on 2 December 2023.

Marathon event in Ras Al Khaimah
The following is a list of marathon events taking place in Ras Al Khaimah in 2024:
RAK Trail Run: 15 km, 10km, 5 km
The information for the RAK Train Run 2024 event has not been released yet.
The RAK Train Run 2023 event was concluded on 2 December. At this event, runners experienced a challenging and enjoyable course through Wadi Naqab’s canyons, navigating 4×4 tracks and numerous dry river bed crossings.

G.O.A.T. Trail Race
G.O.A.T. Trail Race is a challenging and demanding ultra-trail race that will take place on one of the most challenging and rugged mountains of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The race will take place on 27 January 2024.
Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon
Scheduled for Saturday, 24 February 2024, the 17th Ras Al-Khaimah Half Marathon will showcase a fresh route on Al-Marjan Island. Additionally, it will introduce its inaugural 10 km road race.
Marathon event in Ajman
Ajman Half Marathon
Although the information for the Ajman Half Marathon 2024 event has not been released yet, for the year 2023, the marathon is scheduled to take place towards the end of the year, precisely on 31 December 2023.
The running series will further feature 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km and 2.5 km distances.
