Flyadeal baggage allowance
Flyadeal stands as Saudi Arabia’s fresh, budget-friendly airline option. With its hub in Jeddah, this airline operates as a sibling company to Saudia Airlines. Their mission revolves around transporting travelers to their desired destinations while ensuring the most affordable fares.
Flyadeal flight fares do not include a free checked bag allowance, but you can purchase this prior to your flight by using the ‘Manage Booking’ facility on the Flyadeal website.
Please note that if you have purchased a fly+ fare, you will be able to check in one bag of up to 25kg for free at their ‘Bag Drop’ counter. You can also purchase additional pieces of hold baggage through their ‘Manage Booking’ facility before your flight.

Excess baggage prepaid fees
If you purchase excess baggage before you get to the airport, you will be charged as follows:
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 70
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 115
Excess baggage fees for international flights before you get to the airport are as follows:
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 80
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 145
for Cairo flights :
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 160
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 300
for Khartoum flights :
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 160
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 300
Excess baggage airport fee
If you haven’t prepaid for your bags, you will be charged the following prices at the airport:
- 1 piece of up to 15kg – SAR 180
- 1 piece of up to 25kg – SAR 240
- any additional weight beyond 15kg or 25kg will be charged at SAR 23 per kg
Excess baggage fees for international flights before you get to the airport are as follows:
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 80
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 145
For Cairo flights :
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 160
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 300
For Khartoum flights :
- 1 piece up to 15kg – SAR 160
- 1 piece up to 25kg – SAR 300

Additional weight charge
Excess weight beyond 15kg or 25kg will incur a charge of SAR 40 per kg. For flights to Cairo, the fee will be SAR 60 per kg. For flights to Khartoum, the fee will be SAR 60 per kg.
If you attempt to bring cabin baggage exceeding the allowed size, weight, or quantity, Flyadeal reserves the right to check it into the cargo hold. This may cause delays in the aircraft’s departure. In such cases, you will be required to pay the following fee at the boarding gate:
For each bag up to 25kg:
- Cairo flights: SAR 500
- Khartoum flights: SAR 500
Over-sized hold baggage
The hold bag must be no larger than 75 x 50 x 35 cm. Any items which are larger will be accepted for travel only if smaller than 140 x 85 x 65 cm and on payment of the over-sized baggage fee of SAR 200.
If your Hold Bag is larger than 140 x 85 x 65 cm, Flyadeal will be unable to accept it for travel.
Flyadeal baggage prohibited items
The following items may not be carried in your baggage
- items you are forbidden from carrying by local law (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol)
- compressed gases (deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous)
- explosives (munitions, fireworks, pyrotechnic devices and flares)
- corrosives (acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries)
- radio-active material
- flammable liquids and solids (lighter fuel, matches of any kind, paints, thinners, fore lighters or other items which may easily ignite)
- poisons (toxic substances, weed killer and insecticides)
- oxidizing materials (organic peroxides and bleaching powder)
- disabling devices (mace or pepper spray)
- infectious substances (virus culture, bacterial strains)
- dead animal matter
- other items which are offensive materials or magnetized materials
- devices with spillable batteries
- whips or stun guns
- dry ice
- oxygen or dioxide cylinders
- Samsung Galaxy Note 7 / 8 devices
Batteries
Spare or loose batteries, including lithium metal or lithium ion cells or batteries, for portable electronic devices must be carried in Carry-on Baggage only and must not be packed in Checked Baggage. Devices that have the primary purpose as a power source, e.g. power banks, are considered spare batteries and must be individually protected to avoid short circuits.
Weapons
The carriage of weapons, ammunition, or firearms onboard our aircraft is not permitted. Other items which may not be carried include:
- guns (toy or replica, plastic or metal)
- darts
- billiard, snooker or pool cues
- catapults
- laser pens
- personal attack alarms
- tradesmen’s tools
- knives with blades of any length
- razor blades
- household cutlery
- paper knives or box cutters
- sporting bats
- hypodermic syringes (unless supported by medical evidence)
- knitting needles
- scissors
- swords
- archery bows and arrows or similar
- self-heating drinks or food
