Whether it’s another espresso to help you work, an extra pillow for a restful night or sleeping undisturbed without being interrupted for breakfast – in the quietest moments on board, your personal flight attendant will respond to your requests. And if you’re feeling a bit peckish between meals, there is a range of snacks available in the galley – and, of course, you can help yourself.

Lufthansa Business Class seats

Lufthansa’s Business Class seats offer a range of features designed to enhance passenger comfort and convenience. These include fully-flat beds, providing a comfortable sleeping experience during long flights. Passengers can enjoy enhanced privacy, high-definition screens for entertainment, and wireless charging capabilities for their devices. The new Allegris generation of seats introduces alternating herringbone configurations, central double seats for couples, and additional space in Business Plus Suites. It is recommended to reserve seats in advance for the most comfortable flight experience.

Lufthansa has recently introduced new business-class cabins for its long-haul flights, providing passengers with seven seating options. The most luxurious option is the suite, which includes a personal minibar and wardrobe. Double suites are available for passengers traveling with a companion, offering chest-high walls and sliding doors to ensure privacy. Other seat options include those with an extra work surface, window seats with or without a baby bassinet, extra-long beds, double seats that can be combined into a double berth, and classic business-class seats.

In terms of aircraft configuration, Boeing 787 planes feature 28 business-class seats, including four suites. Airbus A350 planes, on the other hand, offer 38 seats, including eight suites. All seating options can be converted into beds and feature heating and cooling options for personalized comfort. The seats also provide generous shoulder space and a “shoulder sink-in” feature, which enhances comfort for side sleeping. Lufthansa is implementing this new business-class cabin on over 80 new aircraft and retrofitting some existing planes as part of its extensive revamp of long-haul flight offerings.

Lufthansa Business Class baggage allowance

Business class fares come with the added benefit of an increased baggage allowance for both checked and carry-on luggage. Passengers traveling in business class can check in two bags, each weighing up to 32 kilos. Additionally, they are allowed to carry two bags, weighing up to 8 kilos each, along with a personal item.

To ensure a seamless travel experience, checked baggage in business class is given priority handling. This means that, in most cases, the checked bags will be among the first to be delivered to the baggage claim area upon arrival, provided local regulations allow for it.

With the generous baggage allowance and priority handling, business class passengers can enjoy the convenience of traveling with their belongings and have the assurance that their checked bags will be promptly available upon reaching their destination.
