As per Kuwait’s latest entry requirements, international travellers looking to enter Kuwait are now required to get themselves inoculated with a booster shot. Travellers must have the booster shot within 9 months of their second COVID-19 vaccine dose to be considered fully vaccinated.

If you’re looking to register your latest vaccination status to gain entry into Kuwait and enjoy the benefits/privileges of being fully vaccinated, you can do so via the Kuwait Immune app. Here’s all you need to know about the Immune app; registration, download, green color code, and more.

What is the Immune app?

Developed by the Ministry of Health, the Immune app is an electronic application with the aim of providing COVID-19 vaccine certificate to individuals who have completed all the required doses of a Kuwait-approved COVID-19 vaccine plus the subsequent booster shot where applicable.

Note that the Immune app is used to register individuals whose vaccination was administered outside of Kuwait. If you’ve been vaccinated within Kuwait and are looking to register yourself, please check out our vaccine registration in Kuwait article.

Who needs to register on the Immune app?

All citizens, residents, and visitors to Kuwait over the age of 16 who have been vaccinated outside of Kuwait must register their COVID vaccine credentials on the Kuwait Immune app.

PCR and vaccine requirement update

Please note that effective 1 May 2022 onwards, international arrivals to Kuwait will no longer need to provide proof of vaccination or undergo PCR tests. Wearing of masks indoors/outdoors is now optional. However, symptomatic COVID-19 patients and those who have had close contact with a COVID-19 patient must still wear masks.

Where can I download the Immune app?

The Immune app is available for download on both Google Play and App Store

However, please note that according to the Ministry of Health, the Immune app will only be activated for those who have previously registered themselves on a government online portal. More on this below.
