RTA App Dubai services
The renowned RTA Dubai application provides an extensive range of more than 40 services and features designed to support drivers and passengers across various locations, including service centers, metro and bus stations, taxi bookings, parking facilities, and beyond.
Some of the key services of the RTA Dubai application are as follows:
RTA App Dubai for parking
The RTA Dubai application makes it easier to settle your parking charges. To pay your parking fee conveniently through the RTA Dubai application, follow the steps given below:
- access the RTA Dubai mobile application
- click on the parking tab
- choose “pay the parking fees”
- select the zone, vehicle plate number and parking duration
- choose the payment method (SMS/mParking/Apple Pay)
RTA App Dubai for driving license
The RTA Dubai application enables its users to have their driver’s licenses stored on their mobile devices. However, please note that this feature is exclusively available to iOS users who can save it to their Apple Wallet using the RTA Dubai application.
To access your driver’s license through the RTA Dubai application, please follow the steps provided below:
- access the RTA Dubai mobile application
- select “My Docs” on the homepage
- enter your Traffic Code (TC) number and the issue date of your license. Please note that this step is not needed if your UAE Pass and RTA accounts are linked
- click on the “My License” tab to see your driver’s license
- select the “Add to Wallet” option to add your license to your Apple Wallet
RTA App Dubai theory test
To prepare for your driving license test, you can utilize the RTA Dubai application, which offers a practice test to aid in your preparation. Below are the steps to access the practice theory test:
- access the RTA Dubai mobile application
- select the “driver and licensing” section on the homepage
- click on the “practice theory test” button
- select your language
- select the type of vehicle
- click on the “continue” button to start the test
Please note that the test will consist of 35 questions that must be completed within 30 minutes. After you submit the test, you can review your answers.
RTA App Dubai download
The RTA Dubai application can be easily downloaded and installed for free for both iOS and Android devices. The application can further be accessed through computers, phones, and smartwatches.
Can the RTA App Dubai be used for vehicle registration?
Although the RTA Dubai application does not support vehicle registration, to apply for registering a new vehicle, you can download the Dubai Drive application (Android, iOS) released by the RTA.
However, you can use the RTA Dubai application to renew and replace your vehicle registration card. You can easily do so by clicking on the “Vehicles & Fines” option on the homepage and choosing the type of service you want
RTA App Dubai for bus timings
Unfortunately, the RTA Dubai application does not include the feature to check real-time bus timings as it only provides information about the bus route list.
However, if you want to find information about bus timings, you can download the S’hail application (iOS, Android), released by the RTA.
