Saudia and Newcastle United FC have jointly announced the renewal of their official partnership for 2023/2024 and beyond, Wego reports.

Their earlier collaboration through 2022/2023 saw the Saudi Arabian national carrier flew the first team between Newcastle International Airport and Riyadh for training and a match against Al-Hilal.

According to the press release, the continuing partnership will connect Saudia with Newcastle United supporters around the world through exclusive offers and experiences. The airline also expects to reach football fans across the globe through the club’s digital channels and international television viewership.

Newcastle United’s chief commercial officer, Peter Silverstone commented that renewing the partnership is a “natural step” following a successful collaboration with Saudia in 2022.
