Commencing from 19 March 2024, Thai visa applicants in Riyadh are provided access to a convenient e-visa platform for their application process, Wego reports. This digital system eliminates the hassle of submitting physical documents at the embassy, making the application process smoother and more accessible for travelers.

Upon successful application, applicants will receive confirmation via email, which is essential documentation for both airline check-in and immigration clearance upon arrival in Thailand. The processing time for e-visa applications is up to 10 working days. However, incomplete documentation may cause delays, highlighting the importance of providing accurate and complete information during the application process.

Eligibility for the e-visa extends to passport holders of all nationalities residing in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Lebanon. However, applicants must be present in either KSA or Lebanon during the application process and provide evidence of residency to avoid rejection.

Applicants must adhere to the guidelines provided by the Royal Thai Embassy. Failure to follow instructions may result in processing delays or rejection. Additionally, visa fees are non-refundable regardless of the application’s outcome. For inquiries or assistance with the e-Visa process, applicants can email the embassy at [email protected].
