US Embassy in Oman announced a new procedure for visa pick-ups, Wego reports. Starting October 1, all applicants are directed to retrieve their printed visas at Aramex locations. They are no longer required to return to the embassy to collect their visas.
All approved applicants will now pick up their visas from one of the Aramex locations below:
ARAMEX Al-Azaiba Outlet (free pick-up)

Friday: 3 pm – 7 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
ARAMEX Sohar Outlet (OMR 5.5 fee)

Applicants will be contacted via email or text when their visas are ready to be picked up. Only applicants who list a local Omani phone number will be contacted via text message. It’s important that applicants use accurate information when filling in data when applying for the visa on the official US visa application site.
