ADLSA employer change 2024

The ADLSA employer change process in Qatar enables workers to switch employers without requiring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer. This provision was implemented in 2020 as part of labor reforms aimed at safeguarding the rights and well-being of migrant workers.

The employer changes policy grants migrant workers the flexibility to switch employers once they have fulfilled their contract or in cases where their existing employer fails to comply with contractual obligations or legal regulations.

Suppose you want to cancel your request to change jobs; you can do so through the Ministry of Labour’s electronic system or by sending a letter to the Ministry. The method depends on whether your request has been approved or not. If it is still under review, you can log in to the system with your QID and mobile number and cancel it there.

However, once your approval has been granted, but your new contract remains unauthenticated, it is necessary to compose a letter in Arabic addressed to the Head of the Labour Relations Department. This letter should outline why you want to cancel your request and include essential details such as your EC number, QID copy, and mobile number.
